25 Oct IMPORTANT – MAKE SURE TO READ – IT CAN SAVE YOU MONEY AND KEEP YOU OUT OF TROUBLE!
These days, many people take prescription drugs, vitamins, supplements and other over the counter medicines. It is important that when you leave your house with them, that you keep them in the bottles they come in or at least have copies of up to date prescriptions with you or other proof of what these pills are. Many people place them in a baggie or in a box marked for the dates to take them. The problem is that if a police officer should happen to see pills and you can’t show him you are legally in possession of them, then the officer will criminally charge you for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Think it’s not likely? So did some of my clients. Obviously, if you happen to be driving a car, the problem can be compounded if the officer believes you are under the influence of drugs.
